Abstract:
This electric current sensor is provided with a magnetic core (20) magnetically coupled with an electric current path (P); a detection coil (Lp) wound on the magnetic core; a self-oscillation circuit (30) connected to the detection coil (Lp); a negative feedback coil (Lc) for canceling out a magnetic flux occurring in the magnetic coil (20) due to an electric current (Ip) flowing in the electric current path (P); a negative feedback electric current output circuit (40) for causing an electric current to flow through the negative feedback coil (Lc) on the basis of an oscillation signal (Q) outputted from a self-oscillation circuit (30); and a gain control circuit (60A) for controlling the gain of a closed loop comprising the detection coil (Lp), the self-oscillation circuit (30), the negative feedback coil (Lc), and the negative feedback electric current output circuit (40). Through the present invention, the gain of the closed loop is made variable by the gain control circuit, and it is therefore possible to prevent an error in a control direction or abnormal oscillation of the self-oscillation circuit.
