Abstract:
An electric current sensor has an electroconductive member (30) through which an electric current to be measured flows in a predetermined direction, and a magnetoelectric conversion part (10) which is separated from, and faces, the electroconductive member in an intersecting direction intersecting the predetermined direction. In a facing region (31) of the electroconductive member where the electroconductive member faces the magnetoelectric conversion part, an annular shape is formed in which two distal-end surfaces (36a) face each other via a gap (36b) around the predetermined direction. In the intersecting direction and via the gap, the magnetoelectric conversion part faces a void of the facing region forming the annular shape.
