Abstract:
An electric cutting tool (100) comprises a body part (2) storing a drive part (6)
rotatingly driving a circular saw blade (1) and a power transmission mechanism
section for transmitting the power of the drive part (6) to the circular saw blade
(1) and a surface plate (5) supporting the body part (2). A shaft (1a) supporting
the circular saw blade (1) is disposed between the shaft (6a) of the drive part
(6) and the surface plate (5). In this electric cutting tool (100), the power transmission
mechanism section includes a pair of helical gears (7c, 7d) disposed coaxially
with each other. The both gear traces of the paired helical gears (7c, 7d) are formed
to face the same direction. By this constitution, a thrust load can be reduced
in the electric cutting tool (100).
