Abstract:
Provided is an electric die-casting machine which is capable of stably executing a series of molding cycles including an injection step, a pressure-increasing step, an extrusion step, and a withdrawal step, and exhibits excellent operability. During the extrusion step, a controller (13) stops an injection plunger (9) in a prescribed extrusion stoppage position by controlling the driving of an electric servo motor (10) for injection and/or an electric servo motor (11) for increasing pressure, according to a pre-set control pattern. In addition, during the withdrawal step, the controller (13) stops the injection plunger (9) in a prescribed initial position by controlling the driving of each of the electric servo motors (10, 11) in a manner such that the rotational speed of a screw shaft (5) driven by the electric servo motor (11) for increasing pressure is faster than the rotational speed of a screw shaft (5) driven by the electric servo motor (10) for injection.
