Abstract:
A permanent magnet for position detection 51 which constitutes a position detection sensor is provided on the side opposite to the output side of a rotation shaft 45 of a rotor 44 housed inside a motor housing 11A. Furthermore, a GMR element 56 constituting the position detection sensor, and the position detection circuit thereof are provided to a motor cover 48 on the side where the permanent magnet for position detection 51 is provided, and the GMR element 56 is arranged in a position facing the permanent magnet for position detection 51. The GMR element and the position detection circuit are thereby arranged on the motor cover on the side where the permanent magnet for position detection is provided, and it is therefore possible to improve the mutual positional assembly precision, and furthermore, since the power conversion circuit section and the GMR element and position detection circuit are placed at a distance, the effect of being able to obtain accurate detection signals can be exhibited.
