A heat dissipation base 23 is provided at an end surface of a motor housing 20 in which an electric motor is housed, said heat dissipation base extending, near a rotational shaft of the electric motor, in a rotational shaft direction; a substrate 24 of one electronic control unit of a redundant system is fixed, in a manner allowing heat conduction, to the heat dissipation base along the direction in which the heat dissipation base extends; a substrate 26 of another electronic control unit of the redundant system is fixed, in a manner allowing heat conduction, to the heat dissipation base along the direction in which the heat dissipation base extends, so as to face the substrate of the one electronic control unit; and a cover 29 that covers the heat dissipation base and the substrates is fixed to an end surface of the motor housing without using bolts. Thus, there is no need for a housing to house the electronic control units, and the only section that seals is the joining section between the motor housing and the cover. Consequently, additional structures in the sealing section and components or bolts that would be necessary for sealing can be reduced.
