Abstract:

Provided are an electric drive device and an electric power steering device in which an increase in the temperature of a magnetic sensor is suppressed. An electric drive device according to the present invention is provided with: an electric motor; an electronic control device including a magnet that is provided at an end on the opposite side of a shaft from a load in order to drive and control the electric motor and a circuit board that is on the opposite side of the shaft from the load and that is disposed on a line extending in the axial direction of the shaft; first coil wiring for connecting a first coil group of the electric motor and the circuit board; and second coil wiring for connecting a second coil group of the electric motor and the circuit board. Each of the first coil wiring and the second coil wiring has: a first part protruding to the outside of a housing in a direction intersecting the axial direction of the shaft; and a second part protruding from the first part towards the circuit board outside the housing.
