Abstract:
An electric drive device for a vehicle comprising: a drive shaft rotatable around a first central axis; a motor disposed on a first direction side relative to the first central axis, and having a motor shaft; a through drive shaft to which power output from the motor shaft is transmitted; an output shaft to which power is transmitted from the through drive shaft; and a differential gear that is arranged in the first direction with the motor shaft, and transmits power from the output shaft to the drive shaft. The through drive shaft crosses the axial direction of the first central axis from the first direction side relative to the first central axis, and extends toward an opposite direction to the first direction. The output shaft is disposed on the opposite direction side to the first direction relative to the first central axis.
