Abstract:

An electric driver device having a function to determine that appropriate screw tightening has been made when the tightening is made using a time longer than a standard time for screw tightening, wherein the electric driver has a novel means for determining the standard time period. A controller for an electric driver device has a torque watch means (40, S4) for watching whether or not load torque for performing screw tightening by using an electric driver (12) has reached a tightening completion torque value that represents the completion of the screw tightening, a time measurement means (40, S1, S5) for measuring a time, as a screw tightening time, from a time point at which the screw tightening starts to a time point at which screw tightening torque reaches the tightening completion torque value, and a means (40, S6-S10) for determining a standard time for subsequent screw tightening work based on screw tightening times obtained by the measurement means in screw tightening made for a predetermined number of screws.
