Abstract:
An electric drop-jet generator comprises a supporting element (1), a nozzle (2) and piezoceramic disks (7) mounted on the nozzle (2) and intended to provide pressure oscillations inside the nozzle (2). The piezoceramic disks (7) are clamped between the supporting element (1) and the flange of the nozzle (2) by means of a spring (10). A method adjusting the generator provides for selection of a force for clamping the disks (7), a working pressure and a working frequency of the pressure oscillations for liquids with a high and a low conductivity so as to ensure the most efficient operation of the generator.
