Abstract:
According to the present invention, an electric dust collector is provided which comprises: a charging unit charging dust included in outside air that is introduced; a circulating fluid dust collecting unit disposed downstream from the charging unit along the direction of flow of outside air, and collecting the charged dust in circulating fluid; and an opposing unit formed to face the circulating fluid dust collecting unit. The opposing unit includes: a metal plate charged with the same polarity as the polarity of the charged dust; and a flexible material cladding the metal plate. The present invention substitutes a dust collecting plate that collects charged fine dust by means of electrical force with a dust collecting unit that uses fluid, so as to have the effect of overcoming the problems that arise when fine dust is deposited on the surface of a dust collecting electrode.
