Abstract:
An electric energy monitoring device and method, and an electric energy meter. The electric energy monitoring device comprises: a voltage input terminal (1) that is configured to input a voltage signal; a type detection circuit (2) that is configured to detect the type of the inputted voltage signal; a signal switching circuit (3) that is configured to provide a sampled inputted voltage signal to an analog-to-digital conversion circuit (4) when the inputted voltage signal is a direct current voltage signal, such that the analog-to-digital conversion circuit (4) performs analog-to-digital conversion on a received direct current voltage signal, and direct current power value monitoring is performed by a second monitoring circuit (6); in circumstances in which the inputted voltage signal is an alternating current voltage signal, the sampled inputted voltage signal is provided to a first monitoring circuit (5), such that the first monitoring circuit (5) performs alternating current value monitoring. By means of detecting the type of an inputted voltage signal, and providing an alternating current voltage signal and a direct current voltage signal to corresponding circuits respectively for power monitoring, the electric energy meter is thus compatible.
