Abstract:
An electric expansion valve (1) comprising a main body portion (40), a main valve body (30), a drive motor (10), and a receiving portion (50). The main body portion has a valve chamber (41) and a valve seat (42). The receiving portion is disposed on one surface side of the main body portion and receives a driving mechanism including a rotor (11) of the drive motor. The main valve body has a screw shaft (31) and a valve body (33). The main body portion also has a communication hole (26a), an inflow portion (43), and an outflow portion (44). The communication hole (26a) causes the receiving portion and the valve chamber to communicate with each other and is configured to allow the main valve body (30) to be inserted therein. The inflow portion (43) is connected at a position on the upstream side of the valve seat (42) in the valve chamber (41) in terms of the flow of refrigerant.
