Title:
ELECTRIC FIELD MAP GENERATION DEVICE, METHOD, PROGRAM, AND LOCALIZATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/220879
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention reduces the effort required to generate an electric field map for achieving high-accuracy localization. An electric field map generation device (10) that generates an electric field map in which the RSSI, for when a signal emitted from a beacon (60) is observed at each of a plurality of sites in the same space, is mapped to each of the coordinates of the plurality of sites, wherein: a signal strength acquisition unit (12) acquires the RSSI observed at each of at least three observation sites at different distances from the beacon (60); a space propagation characteristic estimation unit (14) uses the RSSI acquired at the observation sites to estimate the space propagation characteristic, for the same space, of the signal being emitted from the beacon (60); a signal strength estimation unit (16) estimates the RSSI at estimation sites on the basis of the estimated space propagation characteristic and the distance between the beacon (60) and the estimation sites, which differ from the observation sites; and a generation unit (18) uses the RSSI at the observation sites and the estimation sites to generate an electric field map (26).
