Abstract:
An electric heating cooking utensil comprising a pot body (1) and an electronic temperature-sensing rod (2) insertedly connected to the pot body (1). The pot body (1) is provided with a heater (11). The electronic temperature-sensing rod (2) comprises a housing (21), a circuit board (22) that is provided within the housing (21) and is electrically connected to the heater, and a probe (26) that is connected to the housing (21) and detects the temperature of the pot body (1). The probe (26) is provided therein with a temperature sensor (23) that is electrically connected to the circuit board (22). The probe (26) is also provided therein with a thermal circuit breaker (24) that is electrically connected to the circuit board (22) and interrupts a power supply of the heater when the temperature of the pot body (1) exceeds a predetermined value. With the present apparatus, when the temperature sensor (23) is faulty and cannot accurately detect temperature, and if the temperature of the pot body (1) is higher than the predetermined temperature while the temperature detected by the temperature sensor (23) is lower than the predetermined temperature, the thermal circuit breaker (24) that is electrically connected to the circuit board (22) interrupts the power supply of the heater (11), thus preventing a safety incident that would be caused by the heater (11) working continuously in a high power state.
