Abstract:
An electric isolating switch, belonging to the field of electrical devices, and comprising an electric operating mechanism (8) and a contact chamber (9), the contact chamber (9) being provided with a moving contact (15), a static contact (16), wiring terminals, an arc-extinguishing chamber and a transmission mechanism (14). An arc-extinguishing apparatus is provided with a plurality of arc-extinguishing grid plates (4, 5, 6) and insulating supports used for mounting the arc-extinguishing grid plates (4, 5, 6). The arc-extinguishing grid plates (4, 5, 6) are provided with mounting portions and receiving portions, the receiving portions being provided with flow-dividing portions (1) used for splitting electric arcs, the flow-dividing portions (1) comprising through holes (3) passing through the receiving portions and oblique tongues (2) protruding out from the receiving portions, the oblique tongues (2) being arranged at the sides of the through holes (3) away from an electric arc inlet end and extending towards the electric arc inlet end, the angles between the oblique tongues (2) and surfaces of the receiving portions being acute angles, root portions of the oblique tongues (2) being continuous with the receiving portions, the receiving portions being provided with one or a plurality of the flow-dividing portions (1) along the propagation direction of the electric arcs. The beneficial effects are: 1. a long arc is split into a plurality of short arcs within the same space; 2. the arc gap voltage is sharply decreased, significantly reducing the chance of an arc gap electric arc restarting.
