Title:
ELECTRIC KETTLE CAPABLE OF MONITORING WATER LEVEL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/188679
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An electric kettle capable of monitoring a water level, comprising a base (1) externally connected to a power source, a kettle body (2) disposed on the base (1), a heating element connected to the power source and disposed within the kettle body (2), a control circuit (5) for controlling the heating element, at least one pressure sensor (3) for detecting the pressure of the kettle body (2), a microprocessor (4) for converting a pressure signal detected by the pressure sensor (3) into water level information, and a wireless transmission and receiving device (6); the input end of the microprocessor (4) is connected to the pressure sensor (3), and the output end of the microprocessor (4) is connected to the control circuit (5) and the wireless transmission and receiving device (6); and the electric kettle further comprises an external remote control device (7) matching the wireless transmission and receiving device (6). The electric kettle of the present invention can monitor the water level information, and can provide an alarm when the electric kettle lacks water or is full of water, thus further ensuring the safe use of the electric kettle; and the water level information is wirelessly transmitted to the remote control device for display or processing, thus increasing the convenience of use for a remote user.
