Abstract:
An electric kettle according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a body which is made from a metal material and which forms a space in which water is accommodated; a heating module which is provided in the body and which heats the space; a handle mounted on the outer surface of the body so as to protrude therefrom; a handle cover which is made from a metal material and which forms the exterior of the protruding upper surface of the handle; and a handle PCB which is provided inside the handle, and which has a touch sensor coming in close contact with the rear surface of the handle cover so as to sense touch operations on the handle cover, wherein the operation of the heating module is controlled by the handle PCB.
