Abstract:
An electric kettle according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a body, which includes a cylindrical outer body that is open vertically, that is made from a metal material, and that forms the exterior thereof, and an inner body disposed inside the outer body; an upper body mounted on the upper end of the body, and extended upward along the upper end of the body; a lid for opening and closing the open upper surface of the body; a spout and a handle formed on one side of the upper body; a heating module for heating water accommodated inside the inner body; and a base for supplying power to the heating module, wherein the upper body includes: a body top which is made from the same material as that of the body, and which extends upward along the upper end of the body; and a mounting member for connecting the inner surface of the body top and the inner surface of the inner body so as to couple the upper body and the body therein.
