Abstract:
An electric motor (1) is provided with: a stator (20); a hollow cylindrical rotor (10) disposed on the outside radially of the stator (20); and a fan mounting section (15) located on one axial side of the stator (20) and mounted to the rotor (10). An end surface (15A) on one side of the fan mounting section (15) has: a contact region (52A) in contact with the mounting surface of a fan; and a non-contact region (121A) not in contact with the fan.
