Abstract:
An electric motor car control apparatus has a speed sensorless vector control
means that estimates, from the output voltage command and output current of a
VVVF inverter, a rotational speed of an AC electric motor and controls, based
on the estimated value, the VVVF inverter. The electric motor car control apparatus
further has an overhead-wire current detecting means (4) that detects a current
from an overhead wire (1); an irregular-operation detecting means (12) that
detects an irregularity of the speed sensorless vector control means (11) from
the sign of a current of the overhead wire detected by the overhead-wire current
detecting means during the operation of the VVVF inverter (6); and a gate stop
means (13) that causes the VVVF inverter to stop when the irregular-operation
detecting means detects the irregularity.
