Abstract:
This electric motor is provided with a stator and a rotor. The stator has the following: a yoke that is disposed on the outer circumferential side of the stator which is formed in a ring shape; a plurality of teeth that protrude in the radial direction from the inner circumferential side of the yoke, the tips of the teeth protruding in the circumferential direction; an electrical wire that is wound around the teeth and through which current flows; and an insulating member that is disposed between the electrical wire and the teeth and that insulates the electrical wire, the yoke, and the teeth from each other. In winding the electrical wire around the insulating member, a constant load is applied, and a flat surface that is parallel to the winding surface of the insulating member is formed in the first layer of the electrical wire.
