Abstract:

An electric motor has a rotor rotationally driven about a rotational shaft and a stator annularly provided on the outer circumferential side of the rotor. The stator has a stator core, a plurality of coil end insulating members, and a plurality of wall portion insulating members. The stator core has a pair of uneven portions provided in each of axial end sides of the side walls of a tooth portion in the circumferential direction and the inner perimeter walls of a back yoke portion. The coil end insulating members cover both ends of the tooth portion in the axial direction. Perimeter edge portions of the coil end insulating members are disposed at the uneven portions. The wall portion insulating members cover the side walls of each tooth portion in the circumferential direction and the inner perimeter walls of the back yoke portion continuous with the side walls.
