Abstract:
The present invention provides an electric motor speed control system which, with respect to an electric motor with an angle detector, is provided with an estimation unit for estimating the rotational speed and rotational angle of the electric motor. The estimation unit calculates, in a set period after a pulse change in a pulse signal corresponding to a rotational angle from an angle detector, a speed estimation value and an angle estimation value using a rotational acceleration and a rotational angle obtained by converting the pulse signal and on the basis of an observer, and calculates, in a period other than the set period, the speed estimation value and the angle estimation value using the rotational acceleration and on the basis of not the observer but the equation of motion of the electric motor. According to the present invention, even if the resolution of the angle detector is relatively low and the rotational speed of the electric motor is relatively low, it is possible to perform speed estimation in which the effect of detection delay in a speed detection value is suppressed, and to achieve more stable speed control using the speed estimation value.
