Abstract:
An electric motor (13) equipped with: a stator (20); a rotor (21) that is arranged inside of the stator (20), and rotates around a vertical axis; and a water regulation member (35) that is arranged between the stator (20) and the rotor (21), and prevents leaking water from wetting the stator (20). The water regulation member (35) has a water regulation cylinder (36), which is arranged between the stator (20) and the rotor (21), and a water regulation disk (37b), which covers the upper part of the rotor (21), has an opening (37d) in the center part through which a rotary shaft (22) of the rotor (21) passes, and the outer-diameter part of which is connected to the inner surface of the water regulation cylinder (36) in a watertight manner.
