Abstract:

A drive system for AC motors. The system comprises AC generators, a common power distribution bus line, power conversion devices, power conversion control circuits, and AC motors. In one embodiment, each of the power conversion control circuits generates a current command based on output of bus line frequency detection to a corresponding AC motor on the basis of a correction speed command that is a command where a speed command for a corresponding power conversion device is corrected. In another embodiment, each of the power conversion control circuits generates a speed command based on output of bus line frequency detection to an AC motor in a range below an adjusted upper speed limit value that is a value where an upper limit value of a speed command to a corresponding AC motor is adjusted.
