Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/003526
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to an electric motor (1) having an attachment housing, in particular a gear housing (3) or encoder housing, comprising an electric motor housing (2) that can be positively connected to the attachment housing. According to the invention, the axial positive engagement has a single slotted, radially elastic spring ring (4), wherein the radially inner region of said ring is seated in a first circumferential groove (9) of an outer wall (6) of one of the two connected components (2, 3) and wherein the radially outer region of said ring is seated in a second circumferential groove (10) of an inner wall (7) of the second connected component (2; 3). For an elastic expansion or contraction of the spring ring (4) for assembly and disassembly, sufficient radial play is provided between the inside diameter of the spring ring (4) and the inside diameter of the first groove (9) and/or between the outside diameter of the spring ring (4) and the outside diameter of the second groove (10).
