Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/054688
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A rotor (1) of an electric motor having embedded permanent magnets includes a rotor core (5) having multiple magnet insertion holes, a shaft (6), multiple rare earth magnets (7), and a pair of magnet fixing members (8), wherein multiple pairs of tongue sections (16a, 16b) are provided on one surface of the magnet fixing members, and the tongue sections are inserted into the magnet insertion holes. At each of the two ends in the rotation axis direction, both end surfaces of the rare earth magnets in the rotor circumferential direction are held by a pair of opposite tongue sections, and the intervals between the tongue sections include an interval which, in a position removed from the base position, is narrower than the width of the rare earth magnets in the rotor circumferential direction.
