Abstract:
This electric motor is provided with: a stator that has a plurality of conductor pieces formed by bending a conductor covered with an insulating coating film and is configured by respectively disposing the plurality of conductor pieces into a plurality of slots provided in an iron core; and a rotor disposed on the inner circumference side of the stator. The conductor pieces have: a pair of linear portions disposed in the slots; a bent portion each formed between the pair of linear portions; and a pair of terminal portions formed on the opposite side to the bent portion of the pair of linear portions and joined with another of the conductor pieces. The pair of terminal portions are each projected from the iron core on one end side of the iron core in the shaft direction, and the bent portion is projected from the iron core on the other end side of the iron core in the shaft direction and has a conductor exposed portion where the conductor is exposed from the insulating coating film.
