Abstract:

The present invention is an electric motor that can suppress temperature increases. According to the present invention, a shaft extends in the axial direction. A rotor (10) is provided so as to be further from the shaft (30) than a stator (20) in the radial direction of the shaft (30). A stator fixing part (25) is affixed to the shaft (30) and is also affixed to the stator (20). A rotor fixing part (15) faces the stator fixing part (25) and the stator (20) in the axial direction with a gap therebetween, is rotatably affixed to the shaft (30), and is also affixed to the rotor (10). The rotor fixing part (15) has formed therein a rotor hole (14) that passes therethrough and that communicates with the gap. The stator fixing part (25) has formed therein a stator hole (28) that passes therethrough and that communicates with the rotor hole (14) via the gap.
