Abstract:
Disclosed is an electric motor for a washing machine, the electric motor comprising a stator (1) and a rotor (2). The stator (1) comprises an annular mounting portion (101), wherein 21 to 26 pairs of magnetic poles are arranged on an outer side of the mounting portion (101), and the mounting portion (101) is provided with a plurality of connecting portions (103) uniformly distributed around the axis of the mounting portion (101). The magnetic poles comprise a plurality of first magnetic poles (102) disposed on the outer side of the mounting portion (101) and second magnetic poles (201) disposed on outer sides of the first magnetic poles (102), and the second magnetic poles (201) are fixed to an inner side wall of the rotor (2). The present invention has the advantage of low noise.
