Abstract:
The invention relates to an electric motor (100; 20, 20') comprising a rotatably mounted self-excited or extraneously excited rotor (21), a non-rotatable stator (22) having a stator winding, a rotatably mounted magnetic modulator (23) that modulates a magnetic flux density, wherein the electric motor is configured such that the rotor (21) and the magnetic modulator (23) rotate in opposite directions, wherein the magnetic modulator (23) is arranged between the rotor (21) and the stator (23) or the stator (23) is arranged between the rotor (21) and the magnetic modulator (23).
