Abstract:
Magnets that constitute magnetic poles (3) of a rotor (100) comprise: an annular ferrite bonded magnet (1) that is provided on the outer circumference of a rotary shaft (4); and multiple sintered ferrite magnets (2) that are arranged on the outer circumference side of the ferrite bonded magnet (1). Curved concave sections (1a), which are provided at the same pitch along the circumferential direction and protrude toward the rotary shaft (4) side, are formed on the same circumferential surface of the ferrite bonded magnet (1) in the same number as that of the magnetic poles (3). The respective sintered ferrite magnets (2) are positioned at the respective curved concave sections (1a), where the surface of each sintered ferrite magnet facing a stator is formed into a convex shape curving toward the stator side, the surface facing the rotary shaft side is formed into a convex shape curving toward the rotary shaft side and in a shape that substantially resembles the shape of the curved concave section (1a), the thickness of each sintered ferrite magnet in the circumferential direction is greater at the central section than at the end sections, and the magnetization directions of the sintered ferrite magnets are arranged so as to achieve polar anisotropy.
