Abstract:
An electric motor is provided with a stator core (3) which is configured with a prescribed number of laminated annular magnetic steel plates (5) which have a plurality of teeth (4) on the inner peripheral side thereof, the teeth (4) having a coil wound therearound. The circumferential width (B) of the teeth (4) of the plurality of the magnetic steel plates (5) laminated on both end sides of the stator core (3) gradually becomes narrower toward each end. The teeth (4) are configured such that shoulders (7) on both sides of the teeth (4) in the circumferential direction, which are formed by laminating the magnetic steel plates (5), become narrower smoothly in steps toward each end. The coil is wound directly around these teeth (4).
