Abstract:
Provided is an electric motor that can suppress emission to the surrounding environment of electric noise generated at a contact section between a brush and a commutator. The electric motor is characterized by comprising: an armature shaft (28); a coil (29b) attached to the armature shaft (28); a commutator (30) attached to the armature shaft (28) and electrically connected to the coil (29b); brushes that supply current to the commutator (30); a conductive bearing (35) that rotatably supports the armature shaft (28); a yoke (26) having the bearing (35) assembled therein and connected to a ground; a conductive bearing (34) that rotatably supports the armature shaft (28) and is arranged at a position different from the bearing (35) in a direction along the center line of the armature shaft (28); and a contact plate (51), a ground terminal (50), and the yoke (26) that are electrically connected to the bearing (34) and are connected to the ground.
