Abstract:
An electric motor (1) is provided with: a shaft (3) accommodated in a frame (2); a rotor (4) attached to the shaft (3), the rotor (4) rotating integrally with the shaft (3); a stator (7) attached to the frame (2); and bearings (13,1 4) that rotatably support the shaft (3). In the shaft (3), at least one through-hole is formed in a portion extending from an end surface of the rotor (4) to the outer side of the rotor (4). The through direction of the through-hole is related to the skew position of the rotational axis (AX) of the shaft (3), or intersects the rotational axis (AX).
