Abstract:
An electric motor (1) is provided with: a shaft (11) that is supported rotatably about a rotary axis (AX); a rotor (12) that is located radially outside the shaft (11) and that rotates integrally with the shaft (11); a stator (13) that radially opposes the rotor (12); and a first bracket (19) that has an inflow hole (19a) for allowing outside air to flow inside. The electric motor (1) is further provided with: a fan (14) that rotates integrally with the shaft (11) and that has a first penetration hole (31c) at a position opposed to a position on the radially inner side than the inflow hole (19a) of the first bracket (19); and a cylindrical first guide (21) that opposes the first bracket (19).
