Abstract:
An electric motor (101) comprises: a rotor (4) having a rotor core (51); and a stator (2) that faces the rotor core (51) with a gap therebetween and has a winding (6) disposed with a specific regularity with respect to a movable direction of the rotor (4). The winding (6) is configured such that one turn thereof is formed by a set of winding edges including a linear line and/or a curved line. In the one turn, a good portion that has better heat radiation performance than another portion due to the external environment of the winding is provided. A winding edge (61B) of the good portion is thinner than a winding edge (61A) of the other portion.
