Provided is an electric one-wheel motorcycle having a simple structure and capable of preventing excessive movement of the center of gravity thereof at the time of a speed change or direction change. This electric one-wheel motorcycle is provided with: one wheel (2); a seat (3); a handle (4) having a handlebar portion (41) to which a brake operation unit (42) is attached; a frame (5) having a wheel holding portion (51) that supports a rotating shaft of the wheel (2) such that the wheel (2) is freely rotatable, a seat attachment portion (52) to which the seat (3) is attached, and a handle joining portion (53) to which the handle is pivotably joined; a wheel drive motor (6) that rotates the wheel (2); a battery (7) that supplies power to the wheel drive motor (6); and a tilt detector (8) fixed to the frame (5), and having a gyro sensor that transmits a detection signal in response to forward tilting with respect to a reference direction to control the rotation of the wheel drive motor (6). The tilt detector (8) further has a tilt mechanism portion capable of changing the tilt of the gyro sensor in response to a braking operation of the brake operation unit (42).
