Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electric oven and to a method for servicing same. The electric oven includes: a main body; a cooktop part disposed on the upper portion of the main body to heat an object to be heated; and an oven part disposed within the main body corresponding to the lower portion of the cooktop part, wherein the oven part includes a cavity in which a cooking chamber is defined, a door selectively opening or closing the cooking chamber, and first and second heating units providing radiant energy into the cooking chamber. The first heating unit is installed in the cavity or separated from the cavity through the top surface of the main body, which is opened before the cooktop part is installed or after the cooktop part is separated. The second heating unit is installed in the cooking chamber or separated from the cooking chamber through the opened front surface of the cooking chamber. Thus, the heater may be prevented from being damaged, and further the heater may be easily installed and separated.
