Abstract:
Provided is an electric parking brake device that can reliably determine an estimation parameter used in a cutoff current threshold value calculation unit and perform an accurate thrust force estimation. In a current reduction interval preceding a current constant interval in which a current is substantially constant, at least a voltage value (V) and a current value (I) of an electric motor (24) are measured a plurality of times (Sp1-Sp3), a predetermined calculation is performed from the plurality of voltage values (V) and current values (I) to estimate estimation parameters used in the cutoff current threshold value calculation unit, and an estimation calculation of a cutoff current threshold value by the cutoff current threshold value calculation unit is performed using these estimation parameters. During the current reduction interval, an estimation parameter of a thrust force estimation model can be reliably estimated and an accurate thrust force estimation by cutoff current threshold value calculation can be performed.
