Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an electric passenger device capable of charging a battery leaving a margin for regeneration and capable of preventing overcharge and overdischarge. A battery control device (34) is provided for estimating the SOC, and the SOC is reduced to leave a margin for regeneration. Further, magnetic brakes (39, 40) are provided that function in travel unit motors (15, 16) when not energized, and also provided are relay circuits (71, 72) which, when the voltage V of a battery (31) is detected to have exceeded an upper limit voltage (Vu1), de-energize the electric path between the travel unit motors (15, 16) and the battery (31).
