Description:

Descriptive report of the patent of invention for "ELECTRIC POWER AMPLIFICATION AND GENERATION SYSTEM"

The present patent refers to a self-sustainable electric power generation system, comprising the interconnection of an electric engine fed by any power source, only for the initial functioning, a speed reducer and an electric power generator producing power enough for the electric engine to work with no outer power source and, also, making a remaining electric power available for different uses. The present patent also refers to an electric power generation amplification system, comprising the interconnection of an internal combustion engine, a speed reducer and an electric power generator significantly increasing the power produced in relation to the generators commonly found in the market. The system operates with diesel, alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, biodiesel or any other kind of fossil or vegetable fuel engine .

Description of the prior art

With the population increase and the new technologies, we need more and more power, specially the low cost ones .

The generators available in the market are added and permanently fed by an outer power source, usually with high costs . The generators available in the market produce power according to its configurations and factory specifications. The power produced by them has an odds ratio between kinetics power and electric power, i.e., the higher the potency in KVA and

engine RPM, the higher the generation of electric power by the generator .

Considering that the market offers generators, the size increase or decrease of which corresponds to the production capacity, that, automatically increases or decreases the size and potency of the engine feeding it, and, therefore, increases or decreases the consumption of fuel feeding it . In summary, the larger the generator, the larger the engine sustaining it and the higher the consumption of this engine. The following proposal consists in an interconnected system of electric engine, speed reducer and electric power generator, which generates its own consumed power and also a remaining electric power for different uses, requiring only any outer power source for the initial functioning of the electric engine.

The following proposal also consists in an interconnected system of inner combustion engine, fed by any type of fossil or vegetable fuel, coupled to a speed reducer and an electric power generator which significantly increases the electric power produced and decreases the consumption of the fuel feeding the engine .

Summarized description of the drawings Figure 1 is a general scheme of the interconnection between the electric engine, speed reducer and electric power generator.

Figure 2 is a general electric scheme of the system.

Figures 3, 4, 5 and 6 correspond, respectively,

to electric power generating schemes of 04, 06, 08 and 12 poles, however, the proposal presented in here is extended to generators of up to 40 poles.

Detailed description of the drawings According to the attached figures, the self- sustainable electric power generation system is comprising the electric engine 1, speed reducer 2, electric power generator 3 with axis 4, rotors 5 and collectors 6.

This system comprises the interconnection of the electric engine 1, the speed reducer 2, electric power generator 3 and an outer power source. The electric engine is fed by any outer power source for its initial functioning.

The electric engine produces mechanical power transmitted to its axis, which is coupled to the speed reducer that, by means of a set of gears, decreases the rotation of the engine axis in the ratio of a value higher than 1 (for example 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10) by 1, however it increases its potency in the ratio of 1 to a value higher than 1 (for example 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10) and transmits it to the axis 4 of the electric generator, coupled to the rotors 5.

In the reducer, while the axis rotation speed is decreased, the strength exerted or potency is increased. The moving rotors create a magnetic field that generates electric power, this power is absorbed by collectors 6 and then transmitted to the electric engine feeding it . The power produced is not completely consumed by the electric engine, the remaining power may be employed for different purposes .

The system allows the operator to define the

power voltage produced by the generator among 110, 220, 380 and 440V, by means of a generator polarity lock system.

Another flexibility allowed by the system is the possibility of using generators with different numbers of poles and RPM. For example, using a 450 CV engine and a 4 poles generator, figure 03, with 1800 RPM, sufficient power for the self-sustain of the system will be produced and there will be a remaining power that might be consumed in different ways. The remaining power generated depends on the relation between the number of poles of the generator and the engine RPM. Therefore, the more poles the generator has and the lower the engine RPM, the higher the remaining power will be.

An electric feed panel makes the reversion from propulsive power to self power, thus keeping the continuous self- feeding of the engine .

The engine starts its functioning by means of an outer power that in few instants is inactivated and then all the system starts to work with its own generated electric power.

A cyclonizer balances the system so there is no impact that might cause a failure during the functioning.

Another flexibility allowed by the system is the possibility of using generators with a different number of poles and RPM variations, with no need to change the size or potency of the engine. That is to say, even if the size and potency to get a higher productivity of electric power is increased, it is not necessary to enlarge the engine, as the mechanical gain arises in the ratio that the RPM decreases and increases the number of generator poles, ranging from 4 to 40 poles.

It will be obviously seen that whereas the above was described as an illustrative example of the present invention, all the other changes and variations done to the present invention, as it would be apparent to the experts in the technique, are considered within the wide scope and field of action of present invention according to the following claims.
