Abstract:
An electric power conversion device (3) comprises: an AC-DC converter unit (31) having semiconductor switching elements (311); an AC filter unit (32) that has a filter capacitor part (321) made up of three capacitors connected in a star connection and that is connected to AC terminals of the AC-DC converter unit (31); a DC filter unit (33) that has a capacitor part (331) made up of two capacitors connected in series and that is connected to DC terminals of the AC-DC converter unit (31); and a controller (34) that controls an on-off state of the semiconductor switching elements (311). The neutral point of the three capacitors connected in the star connection and the node of the two capacitors connected in series are connected together without being connected to ground potential.
