Abstract:
An electric power converting system (100) is provided with: a plurality of electric power converting devices (1, 2) each provided with switching elements (11, 21) which adopt an ON state upon application of a gate voltage, and which are connected in parallel with one another in such a way as to be capable of supplying alternating-current power to the same load; and a gate voltage adjusting circuit (3) which performs adjustment to equalize the average electric power that is output from each of the plurality of electric power converting devices (1, 2), by generating a feedback signal which causes the level of the gate voltage applied to at least one of the plurality of switching elements (11, 21) to change.
