Abstract:
Provided is an electric power generating system that has higher energy recovery efficiency than prior-art systems and can generate not only cold but also heat. The present invention provides an electric power generating system in which working fluid is circulated, while changing the state thereof, in a pressure-resistant sealed circuit system to convert external heat energy applied to the working fluid into kinetic energy and thus to generate motive power, and a power generator is driven by this motive power to generate electric power, wherein the pressure-resistant sealed circuit is formed of a main circuit and a sub circuit, the main circuit includes an evaporation chamber, a heat-insulating expansion chamber, a power generation chamber, a heating heat-exchange mechanism, and a liquefied-working-fluid reflux means, and the sub circuit includes a heat-medium diverting path, a liquefied-auxiliary-fluid supply path, a cooling facility, a second heated-fluid supply path, a heating facility, and a return compression means.
