Abstract:
Provided is an electric power generation device capable of recovering exhaust heat even from a heat source having a small temperature difference without the provision of a mechanically operated structure. The electric power generation device is equipped with: a flow path (2) through which a fluid (10) flows; a vortex generator (3) disposed in the flow path (2); and a pyroelectric component (5) disposed on the downstream of the vortex generator (3). The electric power generation device is configured such that temperature (Tf) of the fluid (10) flowing in from the upstream of the vortex generator (3) and temperature (Tv) of the vortex generator (3) do not match. The vortex generator (3) performs heat-exchange with the fluid (10), thereby generating temperature oscillations on the downstream side of the vortex generator (3).
