Abstract:
An electric power management system comprises a plurality of management devices and a management server. Each of the management devices transmits, to the management server, device configuration information including the device configuration of electric devices in a home and a home identifier and power usage information including the power usage of the home and the home identifier. The management devices each display the power usage of the home. The management server stores received device configuration information and the power usage information. Upon reception of the home identifier, the management server searches for the device configuration information indicating, within a predetermined matching criterion, the same device configuration as the device configuration included in the device configuration information including the home identifier and transmits, to the management device corresponding to the received home identifier, as a comparison power usage, the power usage included in the power usage information including the home identifier included in the found device configuration information. The management device displays the comparison power usage received from the management server.
