Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a highly reliable electric power management system. In order to solve the above problem, an electric power management system according to the present invention is characterized by being provided with: an electric power supply unit disposed in an electric power supply facility; a first electrical wire that supplies electric power to a cable connected to an electric vehicle; a first electric power conversion unit capable of supplying the electric power supplied from the electric power supply unit to the first electrical wire; a load disposed in an electric power consumption facility; a second electrical wire that supplies electric power to the load; a calculation unit that calculates the electric power consumed by the load; a second electric power conversion unit connected to the first electrical wire and the electric power consumption facility, the second electric power conversion unit being capable of supplying electric power to one or both of these; and a control unit that controls the first electric power conversion unit and controls the supply of electric power to the first electrical wire on the basis of the electric power consumed by the load as calculated by the calculation unit and an amount of electric power that can be supplied by the electric power supply unit.
