Abstract:
An electric power meter which separately measures the amount of electric power for purchase supplied from an electric power system, and the amount of excess electric power for sale which is generated by electricity generation apparatuses. The electric power meter detects the flow of power in the electric power system and distinguishes between amount of electric power for purchase and the amount of electric power for sale on the basis of the detected direction of the flow of power, and separately measures the amount of electric power for purchase and the amount of electric power for sale.
